Russ is passionate about helping leaders move from where they are to where they want to be. In January 2015, Ricardo Moromisato and Russell Swaim embarked on the beginning of Empower2Transform Solutions. But with the current energy climate as well as our current employment opportunities, we did not put our complete focus on the

start of E2T until January 2021. Since then the journey has taken us on several twists and turns. But our focus has been to provide electrical power for developing nations.

In terms of connecting the dots, Russell has a background in organizational leadership and coaching. Over the last 15 years he has worked with organizations, companies and individuals to propel them toward greater profitability and significance through consulting and coaching. Over that timeframe, Russ has resided in three different countries: living in New York City; Vancouver, Canada; and Shanghai, China.

He has experienced the impact of crossing cultures and understands the unique challenges it brings for building effective teams and communicating effectively. On September 2012, Russ returned to Metro Vancouver and began to lean in with LeaderImpact. He has helped empower others in the beginning of Forums and

Group Discussions across Metro Vancouver.

 

Previously, Russ devoted his energy to launching a new company in China, Priority Leadership Development Consulting and Coaching. This company focused on

local, and national SME companies, such as MMMOOO Technologies and the Peking Opera Training Center. Also, Russ’ training and experience in life coaching has helped many other professionals experience growth both personally and professionally.

During 2003-2007, while completing a Masters Degree at Regent College in Vancouver, BC, he coordinated and directed leadership development for Granville Chapel comprised of 15 groups, involving more than 200 people. While living in New York City from 2000-2003, Russ was integral in providing leadership to several fund raising initiatives for Priority Associates, a NGO helping professionals develop holistic and well rounded lives in the business world. At the same time, he along with his wife led discussion groups for couples seeking to improve their marriages and for professionals seeking to understand how to integrate their faith in their work. He also provided life coaching for professionals, many of whom worked on Wall Street, who

longed to see transformation in their lives.

As Russ has led various profit and non-profit organizations, it has become clear that the road to success for any leader is directly tied to their heart. Russ will examine the foundational areas of a leader’s heart that will allow them to find holistic and long-term success in whatever they are leading.
